How do I upload multiple photos and videos from an Android device?

Many device manufacturers offer their own file browsers for selecting files. However, multi-upload, i.e. uploading several files at once, is not possible with all of them.

Step-by-step guide for uploading multiple photos & videos from an Android device

  1. Go to the album you want to upload photos & videos to.
  2. Click the "Upload" button and then the "Browse" button.
  3. Under "Select action" you have to choose "Files", "Camera" or "Camcorder". ((Warning) Not "My Files" or other file browsers! Multi-upload is not possible there) (see fig. 1. LINK ).
  4. If you have selected "Files", you can use the sidebar ("Open from") to choose the directory containing the photos or videos (see fig. 2 LINK. and LINK.
  5. In this example we select our photos or videos from the "My Pictures" folder.
  6. A long press ("long tap") on the first picture activates multi-selection.
  7. Now you can select the photos & videos you want.
  8. Clicking "Done" at the top right starts the upload of the selected photos & videos.

In other file browsers, multi-upload may not be possible or only possible to a limited extent!
